1. IMP C AV[R]ELIANVS AV[G] (Imperator Caesar Aurelianus Augustus).
Radiate, cuirassed and bearded emperor facing right.
2. ORIENS AVG (Oriens Aug – the Orient is of our Augustus).
Radiate Sol, nude and cloaked, facing left. Upholding globe with left arm and right arm outstretched. At Sol’s feet two captives, seated, hands tied on back. Left captive looks outward, right captive, with Phrygian cap (?) or helmet has head turned back looking towards Sol. Sol's right leg treading down upon that captive. Star in left field.
2.b SXXT : S = 2nd officina (P was number 1). At Ticinum they merged T with XXI (probably meaning that the coin was silvered to 1/20th of its weight) to give XXT.
