FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C (Flavius Julius Constantius Nobilitas Caesar - F.J.C. the Noble Caesar). Laurelled and cuirassed bust of caesar facing left. A Caesar was by now the 2nd most powerful in the empire, and came just below the Augustus and therefore denoted as ‘nobilitas’. |

PROVIDEN-TIAE CAESS (Providentiae Ceasares - Providence of the Caesars).
(Camp)gate with 2 towers with turrets and a star in the sky in-between. The CAESS points to there being at the time two Caesars (SS). |

‘MNΔ’ (M = Moneta; N = Nicomedia => Izmet, Turkey; 'Δ' = 4th officina). Nicomedia was 'in business' after 294. In fact the exergue legend should in fact have been SM-etc in stead of M but apparently some boss-man didn't find the money holy anymore at this period in time. |
