Annia Galeria Faustina (Junior) was the younger daughter of Antoninus Pius and Faustina (Senior), and was married to Marcus Aurelius in AD 145. She was given the title of Augusta on the birth of her first child in AD 146. Their son 'Commodus' was reportedly the result of her loving one Gladiator too many. In this way ancient Rome explained their son's interesting habits and preferences. This Coin combination of front and back could not be found on the Internet (despite that the coin is quite false). The original of this coin was struck during Antoninus Pius' reign.
