Victoria draped, standing, body full front facing left, in Stola, wings at right. Right arm outstretched holding wreath with at coins left side a small altar or captive at her feet.

The (original) coin announced his impressive victory over the Alemmani tribe in AD 236-238. Most of these coins have on obverse an IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM. So a falsification in combination with the copper core ? It is also a mule : a mix of an obverse and reverse that do not belong together.
So it is an ancient counterfeit, combining two counterfeit dies that imitate official dies, but not two die types that belong(ed) together.
