Though severely cut I like this coin because of it's mustardly orichalcum color and the high detail on the Emperor's crown. In real the front side of the coin comes out much better than in this scan. Specifically the backside of the crown with what more looks like a neckprotector and covering cloth, that an embellishment.
It is something I can repeatedly muse on. Was it a neckprotector, a joke of the coin designer, an embellishment on his part on a happy day or maybe after having just seen the emperor parading through town ?
Then unprosaically it can be a sort of double struck. Minted in Rome, Officina 8 (H in GreekSpeak).
