Silver Denarius - Æ 17 mm - 5 grams - Die axis 12:00 - Struck after AD 128, possibly after AD 134.
1. HADRIANVS - AVG COS III PP (Hadrianus Augustus Consulares Tertius Pater Patriae - H. Augustus, Consul for the 3rd time, Father of the Country). Bust of chin-bearded emperor, bare headed, facing right.
2. FELICIT-aS - AVG (Felicitas Augustus - Good Fortune of the Augustus).
Emperor, in Toga, standing at left, shaking hands with Felicitas at right. His left hand at back makes a greeting movement (?). Both face each other. Felictas, standing, in Stola, holds Cadeucus in her left. While shaking the emp's hand with her other.
In AD 119 Hadrianus accepted his 3rd Consulship. In AD 128 he was named Pater Patriae. Some sources say that for bronze coin this obverse legend combination was used after AD 134 . For silver coinage probably later, possibly after AD 138.
