Bronze Tetradrachm - Æ 17-18 mm - 6,4 grams - Die axis12:00 - Struck AD 285-286.
1. A [K] M A OVA MAΧIMIA[NOC CEB] (Autocrator Kaisar M. A. Va. Maximianos Sebastos - Imperator Caesar M.A.V.M. Augustus). Bust of draped, laureate and bearded emperor facing right.
2. LA (Etoyc A - Year 1).
Alexandria in Chiton, standing full front facing left, holding scepter with left arm. She is looking at the bust of Serapis, who is facing her. There is a vertical wavy from under her elbow to the bottom. This could either be a part of her extreme long Chiton, or a representation of the Nile.
Provincially minted in Alexandria, Aegyptus.
