Bronze Sestertius - Æ 23-24 mm - 7,5 grams - Die axis 07:00 - Struck AD 243-244.
1. IMP IVL PHILIPPVS PIVS FEL ΛVG P (Imperator Marcus Julius Philippus Pius Felix Augustus P). Radiate & draped bust of emperor facing right (unclear if bearded).
2. PMS C-OL VIM (Provincia Moesia Superior, Colonia Viminacium - Province of Upper Moesia, City of Viminacium). Moesia, in Chiton, wearing headdress with drapery attached, standing full front facing left. Her arms outstretched and her hands protectively over (at her left) a standing bull (symbol of Legio VII) and (at her right) a standing lion (symbol for Legio III). Her left arm is has a ceremonial scarf draped over it. Both animals are facing Moesia in the center.
2.b ΔN V (Anno V - Year 5 of obtaining colonial status).
Provincially minted in Viminacium, Moesia Superior.
