Vase Lettering
1. Front 2. Back
Bronze - Æ 15 mm - 2 grams - Die axis 12:00 or 06:00.
1. - Legend indiscernible - Vase with possibly at right half some legend but unreadable.
2. [NEIKOMHΔEΩN ΔIΣ NEΩHKOPWM] (Nikomedeon Dis Neokopon - Nicomedia Twice Templekeeper). I could see they were letters, but did not know what it was until Rupert helped me via Forvm. A few letters are discernable like the E. The templekeeper bit refers to the amount of temples the city kept for the upkeep of the imperial cult (file under : propaganda & status).
Thank you Rupert !
