Bust of laureate emperor facing right. Only top half of the face can be seen since coinlump was struck incorrectly.

ЄΠI AΠOΛΛWNIOY NЄMЄONIKOY AI&Gammma;AЄΩ (Epimelethes Apolloniou Nemeonikou Aigaeon - Magistrate Appolonios, the Nemean - the people of Aigae). Draped (statue) of Apollo Chresterios, standing facing right, holding his local 'utensils of the trade', in one arm hand a laurel branch. In the other something either described as fillet or taenia lint.

According to RPC there is no indication of the magistracy held by such "Apollonios, the Nemean victor", though later coins of Aegae, from the second century, refer to the strategos.
Provincially minted in Aegae, Aeolis.
