1. [IM]P C VOLVSIANVS AVG (Imperator Caesar Volusianus Augustus).
Bust of emperor facing right, laureate and draped.
2. PMS C-OL VIM (Provincia Moesia Superior, Colonia Viminacium - Province of Upper Moesia, City of Viminacium). Moesia, in Chiton, wearing headdress with drapery attached, standing facing us. Her arm outstretched protective over (at her right) a standing bull (symbol of Legio VII) and (at her left) a standing lion (symbol for Legio III). Her left arm has a ceremonial scarf draped over it. Both animals are facing Moesia in the center.
2.b IIN XIII (Anno XIII - Year 13 of obtaining colonial status). An XIII is the year AD 251/252.
Volsianus was Trebonias Gallus' son and murdered with him.
Provincially minted in Viminacium, Moesia Superior.
