Silver Denarius - Æ 13 mm - 4 grams - Die axis 00:30 (i.e. slighty off-centre) - RIC 120 - Struck AD 103-111.
1. IMP TRAIANO AVG GERM DAC PM TRP (Imperator Trajano Augustus Germanico Dacico Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestas - Imperator T. Augustus, Victor over the Germans, Victor over the Dacians, Holder of the Tribunician Power, Highest Priest). Laureate bust right, drapery over left shoulder.
2. COS V PP SPQR OPTIMO PRINC (Consul V Pater Patriae Senatus Populusque Romanus Optimo Principi - Consul for the 5th year, Father of the Country, the Senate and the People of Rome to the Highest prince). Felicitas, in Stola, standing full front facing left. Leaning with left arm on column, holding caduceus with right arm upwards outstretched.
Trajanus is the only one not dating his TRP's. Because of COS V we know it was struck AD 103-111.
