1. D N VALEN-S PF AVG (Dominus Noster Valens Pius Felix Augustus - Our Lord V. the Pious and Blessed Augustus). Double pearly diademed, draped and cuirassed emperor facing right
2. GLORIA ROMANORVM (Gloria Romanorum - Glory of Rome / Romans).
Roman soldier / Emperor full front, facing left. In right arm a standard. In right arm the head of captive enemy, kneeling, hands tied on back, and facing soldier. Possibly a dot above a Δ (delta) can be seen at the roman soldiers right.
2.b ‘TES’ : TES = Thessalonica (Salonika, Greece); the Δ.
Somewhat crude drawing of the soldiers head.

Obv. Good. Funny E - Rev. : LS : Good, RS : Quite flat.

1. [D]N VALEN-S PF AV[G] (Dominus Noster Valens Pius Felix Augustus - Our Lord V. the Pious and Blessed Augustus). Double pearly diademed, draped and (should be) cuirassed emperor facing right.
2. [GLOR]IA RO-MANORVM (Gloria Romanorum - Glory of Rome/Romans).
Roman soldier / Emperor facing right but head turned left. In left arm a Vexillum. In right arm the head of captive enemy, kneeling and facing soldier. Enemy has detailed clothing. A dot above a B can vaguely be seen at the roman soldiers right.
2.b [TES] (only option) : thus also standing for Thessalonica (Salonika, Greece). B for 2nd Officina.

Coin's drawing is reasonably good detail. Lettering is sub-standard.
