Copper 'Cash' - Ć 21 mm - 4 grams - Flipside same way up - Struck in 1803.
1. EAST INDIA COMPANY
Coat of arms of the East India Cy composed of two standing lions, bodies directed towards each other, head pointed to us, each one holding in its back paw a lance with flag, in it’s front paw the coat of arms. Coat of arms filled with a wide cross with in it’s upper left square a medallion still visible. Under the coat of arms a text ribbon with ‘AUSB : REGIS & SENAT : ANGLIA’. Above the coat of arms ‘EAST INDIA COMPANY ‘. At coin bottom ‘1803’.

4/5th of the coin is filled with an Arabic text. Under it (at bottom) V.CASH’.
Because of local customs and in order to mesh with local currencies the following monetary equivalents were established: 1 Dudu = 10 Cash (copper); 8 Dudu = 1 Fanam (silver); 36 Fanams = 1 Pagoda (silver or gold); 3 1/12 Rupees (silver) = 1 Pagoda.
